Dr. Adashi will explore the influences and inspirations behind the music of Felix Mendelssohn and contemporary composer John Harbison, a precursor to the Lark Quartet's performance, featuring the exciting world premiere of John Harbison's String Quartet No. 6, and two movements from Mendelssohn's beloved Octet. on April 29. 

One hour lecture will be followed with a reception of light appetizers and ticket giveaways from 8 - 8:30 pm.
